ISBN 0-19-200008-X〕 suffragan Bishop of Thetford (with the additional position of Archdeacon of Lynn 〔The Times, Friday, Nov 16, 1894; pg. 8; Issue 34423; col E ''Ecclesiastical intelligence''〕) in 1894. In 1903 he was translated (he was nominated on 11 May and installed on 4 June) to become the Bishop of Newcastle but died four years later.
